Baby Bounce (Downtown Library) @ Downtown Library

Please join us for Baby Bounce, an exciting new program in Chattanooga for parents and caregivers of tiny tots aged 1 day to 18 months. With your baby on your lap, together we’ll sing and play and begin the fascinating and lifelong journey of joyful learning. Join us at the downtown branch on Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10am. The class is free and no registration is required.  

Baby Bounce will be approximately 30 minutes and involve interactive songs, finger-plays, stories, shakers, colorful scarves and lots of giggles!  All of these things are crucial for a small child’s mental and social development and what better way to boost brain growth and early literacy than a fun filled storytime at the library!

Preschool Storytime (South Library) @ South Library

Nurture your child’s love of books and the library while having a great time! This program is geared towards children ages 3 to 5 years old accompanied by their favorite adult. Have fun with your child by engaging in stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, crafts and so much more.

Join us on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 at the South Chattanooga Branch.

STEAM Study Break (Eastgate Library) @ Eastgate Library

Need a homework break? Drop in between 3:30 – 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays for a fun activity exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math! There will be one new activity plus one of Eastgate’s most popular maker activities such as LEGOs, Rainbow looms, and the button maker. All activities are appropriate for ages 5-12.

Beginning Readers Book Club (Northgate Library) @ Northgate Library

Learning to read can be very rewarding but sometimes challenging.  The Beginning Readers Book Club is a fun way for children to build confidence.  Join us every Tuesday from 4 until 5pm. Each week we will focus on a new book and improve reading skills with interactive practice games,crafts and group activities.

Beginning Readers Book Club is designed for children in grades 1st – 3rd.

Kids Lego Club (Downtown Library) @ Downtown Library

Creativity and imagination soar at Lego Club! The unlimited ideas and learning opportunities are unwrapped each week with a productive playtime building, sorting and thinking in three dimensions. No matter how you stack them, Legos mean learning! Open to ages 3-8.
