Buzz like a bee at a Creative Discovery Museum’s “sweetest” event! Honey Harvest, a one of a kind event in Chattanooga, is a museum wide celebration of some of the world’s hardest workers: Honey Bees.

No reservations are required and all activities are included with Museum admission.

Signal Centers Spring Break

Signal Centers Adult Services will be on-site to provide art demonstrations and opportunities for children and adults for arts interaction. Signal Centers Adult Services is a talented group of individuals who display wonderful artwork and are a great joy to be near. Creative Discovery Museum is proud to have such a wonderful community partner.

Signal Centers Adult Services began in 1978, serving a handful of adults with disabilities. Today, Signal Center offers an adult day program for over 55 adults with disabilities and geriatric adults.

SPECIAL EVENT – Countdown to Kindergarten Launch

Join us as we blast off to explore kindergarten readiness and kick-off Countdown to Kindergarten at Creative Discovery Museum! This fun-filled event allows rising kindergartners to develop skills needed to start big school through a variety of hands-on activities in a fun environment. Museum admission is free for children enrolled in the Countdown to Kindergarten Club* and free for one adult per child. Children not previously enrolled in our club can sign-up for free at the event to receive a t-shirt, activity book and more.

*Children should be wearing their Countdown Kid t-shirt for free admission.

SPECIAL EVENT Countdown to Kindergarten Day at the Lookouts

Cheer on the Chattanooga Lookouts as we celebrate kindergarten readiness! This is a special opportunity for 2017 Countdown to Kindergarten club members and their families to enjoy a fun afternoon at the ballpark while continuing to develop skills needed to start big school.

Children wearing their Countdown to Kindergarten t-shirt will receive free admission to the game. Any rising kindergartner not previously enrolled in the club can sign-up at a table setup outside of the park.

EXTENDED SUMMER HOURS

Spend a few more hours with us each week! During extended summer hours, we open half an hour earlier and close half an hour later.

Story Time – Leonardo, the Terrible Monster

Guests will listen to the story and discuss different types of emotions and how to be a good friend. Guests will then be invited to stay and participate in a take-home activity that relates to the reading.
