Guests will participate in a discussion of this famous artist and learn about the art form of printmaking along with creating their own piece of pop art.

Guests will experiment using various mediums to create their own marble print to take home.

Guests will learn how to follow instructions by reading a recipe to completion as well as use new kitchen skills in our test kitchen as they learn to knead dough and create a pattern in baking cookies.

Jam and Bread is a spirited music concert series for families and children that features live entertainment, pizza, and the chance to play in the Creative Discovery Museum after-hours. Dinner and dancing and music will be everywhere as local band The Party Truck, takes the stage to perform traditional and original songs for children. This is the third appearance of The Party Truck at the Jam and Bread series.

Games have come a long way. Come roam the atrium and see some simple, fun games fit for the entire family.

Art and chess will collide as you create your own handmade souvenir during Make a Mold, a molding and casting workshop led by local artist Isaac Duncan. Children ages 7 and up will work one-on-one with Isaac Duncan as he teaches the process of mold making and casting a form with a urethane resin. Every artist will leave with a chess piece that they crafted!

Guests will listen to a story and discuss doing things they may not like to do but after doing them, wind up liking them anyway. Guests will then be invited to stay and participate in a take-home activity that relates to the reading.
