SUPERfriends, UNITE! This is the best camp for the camper that has never been to school or camp before. Your preschool-aged child will join other Superfriends to make masks and capes, create super snacks and build super-sized buildings all while making SUPER-SIZED friendships. Our experienced staff will work on skills – like problem solving, cooperation, taking turns – that will help children be successful in school.

Does your kitchen sometimes turn into a culinary science lab? Then this camp is perfect for your young chef! Campers will use all the tools of a real chef as they cook and then learn to clean up after themselves. They will tour the kitchen of a local restaurant and see how professionals work. Your child will enjoy cooking their own lunch and snacks while they are at camp. And at the end of the week, they will come home with recipes for everything that they cooked during camp!

Campers will spend the week writing and performing minute plays, writing scripts and making recordings of their own creations. We’ll make stop motion films and play with technology to bring their imaginations to life!

What a week this will be! We will take several current movies and look at the science of special effects and the amazing ways that the things we see on the big screen come to be! We will explore how movie theaters operate. Campers will also have the opportunity to make their own creations with make-up and other interesting concoctions.

Robots, Automotons, and Rockets! OH, MY! Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) come together during this amazing week to help campers explore their world. We will investigate sound, things that move, and other mechanical wonders as we use our best problem solving to create amazing things with unusual materials.

Friends Discovery Camp will be a great week of exploration. Through investigating Eric Carle’s books and doing science and art activities, children with a diagnosis and children without can meet on level ground and enjoy the fun together! Students are paired with each other and have a Big Buddy from University of Tennessee Chattanooga to help guide their experiences.

If your child is constantly singing and playing music, this is their dream camp! We will investigate Riverbend stages, their lighting shows, the sound boards and load-ins during this behind the scenes camp. We’ll visit a recording studio and meet some of the artists that will be performing on the Riverbend stages. We will have opportunities to sing or play onstage and rub shoulders with the professionals during this exciting week. This camp is created specifically for the older child and will fill quickly!
