Bring your best strategy and join us for a members-only event in our upcoming exhibit, Kings, Queens & Castles, without the crowds!

Developed in partnership with the World Chess Hall of Fame, Kings, Queens & Castles brings the game of chess to life, inviting children and families to explore a giant chessboard, life-size chess pieces and game strategy no matter their mastery level. This exhibit not only invites children and families to learn more about this classic game, but piques the interest of those who already play.

This event is free for members, but reservations are required. Online reservations are now open.

TEACHERS WORKSHOP – DNA in Space!

Middle School and High School teachers
$30/person (lunch included)
Reservations required

DNA science used to be seemingly foreign and untouchable – only used in pristine labs to solve crimes, diagnose diseases or improve crops. That’s no longer the case. miniPCR has created the miniPCR DNA Discovery System, cutting-edge technology that is being used to test, study and copy DNA in the International Space Station to classrooms and homes around the world.

Creative Discovery Museum invites teachers for grades 6 through 12 to a hands-on Genes In Space with Dr. Sebastian Kraves, a Harvard trained neurobiologist and co-creator of miniCPR, to learn how to operate and utilize miniPCRs in the classroom.
