Artist in Residency: Isela Arredondo

Isela Arredondo, local artist and jewelry maker, is the third artist featured in our Artist in Residency Program! Isela will be in the Museum’s Art Studio every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. through October 15. Each week Isela will be offering instruction to guests interested in jewelry making.

“We are excited to present this new level of artist instruction to our guests which will allow children and adults the chance to meet a professional artist, observe as the artist demonstrates her craft, and work directly with the artist to create a unique artform,” said Liza Blair, arts manager at Creative Discovery Museum.

All activities are included with Museum admission. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from and create alongside Isela Arredondo!

The residency is part of an Equity in the Arts program funded through ArtsBuild and the Benwood Foundation. Arredondo is one of three local artists to present multi-week residencies in the Museum. Each artist will be at the Museum for two-hours a day, two days per week until the residencies end in December 2017.
