Heart of the Home: African Cultures

We are whipping up something new in Culinary Corner! Heart of the Home Cooking Series will focus on different cultural cooking traditions on the first Saturday of every month!

Chefs from diverse ethnic communities will spice up your Museum visit as they prepare a delicious dish specific to their culture while talking about their heritage! Join us June 3 at 2 p.m. to explore Filipino food and culture!

“The Heart of the Home Food Series provides Museum guests with a chance to learn about, taste and meet the people preserving and making a variety of food dishes reflective of the many cultural traditions and cooking practices found in Chattanooga,” said Liza Blair, arts manager at Creative Discovery Museum.

All activities are included with Museum admission.

The Heart of the Home Food Series is part of the Museum’s ArtsLive Program and is funded in part through the Tennessee Arts Commission and ArtsBuild.
